Responsibilities and Requirements

As a Lead Data Scientist and User Researcher, you will leverage your user research and data analysis expertise to inform game design, marketing, and other product-related decisions. Your role is crucial in shaping the player experience and ensuring the success of the studio's games through comprehensive research and data-driven insights.

  • Conduct and manage user research studies, including surveys, usability testing, interviews, and focus groups, to gather valuable player insights.
  • Design and execute research plans to analyse player behaviour, user needs, and market trends.
  • Perform comprehensive data analysis, including user behaviour profiling, predictive analysis, sentiment analysis and market trend evaluation to support game development and marketing strategies.
  • Communicate research findings and data insights effectively to development and marketing to drive informed decision-making.
  • Set, monitor and analyse KPIs and provide actionable recommendations to optimise game design and marketing efforts.
  • Develop and utilise data analysis frameworks, prediction tools, and algorithm models to support game operations and strategic planning.

About You

  • Deep experience in user research, data analysis, or a similar role within the gaming or tech industry.
  • Strong research design and data analysis skills, focused on quantitative and qualitative methods.
  • Proficiency in SQL and Python for data analysis and modelling.
