Innovation, state-of-the-art tech, and endless talent lie at the heart of this Swedish game development studio. Based in Stockholm and comprised of industry veterans previously working on the Battlefield series, this company is currently working on a sci-fi bloodsport, squad-based, free-to-play multiplayer shooter soon to be released. If you’re looking for a challenge that tests your technical and artistic skills or just want to work with one of the leading developers in Sweden, this is the right place to do so!

Responsibilities and Requirements

As a Backend Engineer at this studio, you will be an integral part of a highly creative game team focused on building powerful and reusable infrastructure and backend components for our teams.

Here you will have the opportunity to take initiative and drive finding solutions to exciting challenges, building the services that power our games, making sure they scale and continuously improve on them.

As the game is distributed between game client, game server and the cloud, you’ll work together with your team to figure out which parts of the problem to solve in which location. Our client believes in creating smaller teams of well-aligned experts who can be trusted to create games and keep them running.

Some examples of things we’re working on are matchmaking, authentication, game server infrastructure, etc. Some of the technologies we use to make all of those are Go, C++, Rust, GCP, AWS, Bazel, Terraform, Kubernetes, and Google Spanner.

You do not need to have any experience with games or game studios to apply.
